Karol Bienkowski

Although I had a few moments in my career when I was managing teams I'd like to be seen as Java programmer and designer. Throughout my whole career I've been developing multi-tiered J2EE (recently renamed to Java EE) applications with web-based GUI. I'm a fan of object-oriented design, refactoring, patterns, testing and the rest of extreme programming.

I graduated (in 2003) from Computer Science Faculty at Warsaw University. The faculty is world-wide known, for example because of prizes won by its students in TopCoder or in ACM championships.

In my private life I do some sports (bicycle riding, soccer, ice skating), travel, make photos and spend time with my wife Natalia.
